Apple has unveiled the iPad 2. Incorporating a dual-core processor that Apple A5 is up to two times faster than the original iPad , The new iPad 2 is thinner than the 33% to 15% lighter than its predecessor, and has both front-and back-front camera.for capture video and pictures. Like the previous version, Apple iPad 2 sports a 9.7 "LED-backlit glossy widescreen multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024x768 pixels, and will be available from March 11 in the U.S., starting at $ 499 for the variant 16GB Wi-Fi. In conjunction with the U.S. launch, Apple is releasing a new version of the iPad its iMovie video-editing software, priced at $ 4.99. The tablet goes on sale in 26 other countries including the United Kingdom, March 25.
Surprisingly enough, the two iPad still lacks USB connectivity and can not include the integrated memory card reader, which is bad news for photographers who may have hoped for a simple and familiar way to transfer your photos from camera to the tablet. (Even if we assume that the optional Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit, developed for the previous model, the device works with next generation too.) As for the iPad 2's cameras are of little interest to photographers. The front-facing camera FaceTime is for video calls, while the rear-facing units capable of capturing 720p HD video and features a back-illuminated sensor, but it is clearly oriented towards the photo stills. So far the company has not released complete count of pixels of the sensor.
