Intel and its low-cost PCs.
Intel announced that its laptop computers for less than $ 300 designed for poor children will soon be available to American and European consumers in a move that could further push down prices for PCs. The company will sell in the U.S. and in Europe a version of the second generation of its Classmate PC for between $ 250 and $ 350, said in an interview with Reuters Lila Ibrahim, general manager of Intel emerging markets.
